The Domestic Preparedness Support Initiative Technology Transfer Program works closely with the National Institute
for Justice (NIJ), the research, development, and evaluation agency of the U.S.
Department of Justice.
The NIJ assesses the law enforcement technology needs of Federal, State, and
local law enforcement agencies, and works within the DOJ and with other Federal
agencies to establish a coordinated Federal approach on issues related to law
enforcement technology. The following links connect to recent NIJ solicitations
that describe current technology needs. Though these solicitations are closed,
the needs are still high priority, current, and valid. If you recognize
potential matches among your organization's technologies and capabilities, we
hope that you will submit relevant information to george.tillery@usdoj.gov. You
may use the format which best conveys the information in an efficient manner.
DoD technical activities and laboratories, as well as companies providing
information on technologies developed with DoD support should describe the
nature of DoD support, and furnish a copy to the Domestic Preparedness Support Initiative Technology Transfer
Program, at domesticprep@osd.mil.
Please note neither this message nor its attachments are a Government
procurement solicitation. At this time, the NIJ is only seeking information
about technologies that may have the potential to address or be applicable to
the identified needs. If your submittal contains information that you believe
is privileged or confidential, the appropriate portions of your submittal
should be marked "Proprietary Information". The Government reserves the right
to use or disclose data obtained without restriction.
